Texas Instruments VPU200 Video Programming Unit For Parts, vintage computer in Willoughby, Lake County, Ohio

Used, not working. For parts.

This unit has been thoroughly cleaned on the outside with wipes and alcohol. When attempting to test, power to the floppy drive was shorting so it has been disconnected. Pins have been soldered on to the removable CPU which has "bad" written on it. Unit powers on, fan spins, but no picture on screen. All capacitors look good. Floppy drive appears to be missing something on the front.I am not a technician, these are just my observations. Thank you.
